Given the 'alll -Clear' YAY
Ellie,
Haven't heard from ya in a minute. Im so glad for your good news. Thats fantastic! You got your life back now. Im so happy for you.
I finish this Friday. And not a day too soon. I have a sinus infection that just won't quit and need more A/B's. I'm really hoping the rashes dissapear once I stop the treatment too. But I'm still In one piece and that's the main thing. Off on my 3 week trip to Thailand on the 27/12, can't wait. I will be putting all the photo's on Facebook if anyone wants to 'friend' me they can follow my adventure (it might help cheer you up : )
I can't say it's been an easy journey, but I have got there with a whole lot of support from people like you. So thank you. You are all amazing and I will be checking in on you from time-to-time.
Ellie : )
Yaaaay! You're done!!!! Woo Hoo! I finished tx on 7-14-12, UND on all labs. I remember looking at my last pill in disbelief... it just seemed to go on forever. I am still recovering. I started doing Zumba 6-8 weeks ago, and today was the first day that I was able to make it thru the whole class. Still having memory problems.
God Bless
Yea Ellie!!!!! It's 11:30pm in Tx. Tomorrow is your big day & I am so happy for you, I wish you great health & a happy meaningful life. Thanks for encouraging us still going thru that there is indeed an end. Continuing on the journey (Week 16 Triple Incivek). Still itching & painful bowel movements but doing a lot better than the earlier weeks.
All done guys!!! I will have another lot of blood tests in three months and hopefully they will continue to come back clear. I gave my nurses two bunches of roses and the doctor and all the liver clinic staff a HUGE box of Whitlam sampler chocolates : ) The nurses cried. I made sure I included everyone in the card (including reception and pharmacy)to thank them all for their nurturing and care.
It must be a tough job when you are dealing with people who are sick and tired all the time. Try to remember to thank the people that have helped you when your journey ends guys, we can't be easy to deal with LOL.
So let the healing begin..it will be so nice to wake up tomorrow (or sleep in)and not have to take that bucket load of pills.
I have two weeks to I leave for Thailand so I'm going to eat well, exercise and take multi vitamins. Hopefully my body will recuperate between now and then (and these rashes go away)...otherwise I will just lie on a beach for three weeks hehehe.
Good luck everyone! I will be sure to give you updates on my recovery : )
Thanks heaps for all your support and care, it made a huge difference when I was feeling tired, sick and unhappy.
Take care of each other
Love Elise xox
